The four red panels form a kind of visual heartbeat, each marked with abstract microphone-inspired shapes that hint at the tools I’ve used for years to capture voice, noise, and truth. The splashes of blue and black come straight from the studio floor — the same place I record, paint, and build. This work is part of an ongoing series exploring microphones not just as objects, but as symbols of expression, grit, and the creative grind that defines Poor Boy.
Poor Boy Studios is my creative home, the workshop where every piece comes to life. In addition to music, I also spend a lot of my time with visual and creative arts. It’s where I experiment, refine ideas, and create grounded, story‑driven art shaped by realism, sci‑fi mythmaking, and music‑inspired imagery.
I make visual wall art that’s built to be seen, felt, and lived with. I also design functional art: objects with purpose, weight, and use, shaped with the same attention to character and texture. And sometimes I create non‑functional art purely for expression — pieces that exist to provoke, to decorate, or simply to hold a moment.
